Please follow this guide to create a Part:
Step 1) Go to the assets area and click on parts on the web client.
Step 2) Press the Plus icon.
Step 3) Add the part information and press the Save icon at the top. You can add the following information to a part:
Part - A free text field for entering the name of the asset.
Part Number - A free text field for entering a unique part number.
Description - A free text field for entering the name of the part.
Trade Cost - A numeric field for entering the Trade Cost for the internal / cost / purchase price of the part.
Customer Cost - A numeric field for entering the Customer Cost for the part. This would be the cost charged to the customer.
Model - This a dropdown menu for selecting the model. If the option you’re looking for is not here, contact your mpro5 administrator.
Part Sub Category - This a dropdown menu for selecting the Part Sub Category If the option you’re looking for is not here, contact your mpro5 administrator.
Favourite - True or False Field for selecting whether this is a common Part.
Serial Number - True or False Field for implementing if specific Serial Number must be entered on the mobile client when adding this part to a Job or Asset or not.
Is Default - True or False Field for selecting whether an installation does not want to use a parts list, but instead enter part information ad-hoc on the mobile device.
Enabled - Enabled or Disables the Part from View.
Congratulations! You have successfully created a Part.
You may need to add a Manufacturer to the newly created Part for you to be able to save it ( they will appear under the models dropdown). If you don’t need to add one, you can select all to make it visible globally.
